New adventures ahead….

Today was a very exciting day! I am currently 18 1/2 weeks along in my pregnancy and so that means it is time for an ultrasound. We went into our appointment with the prayer that all was healthy and well with our growing little one. We also went in with the hope that we would get to find out the sex of our baby. Well we were SHOCKED ( to say the least) when the nurse told us (very matter of factly) that we are having a

BOY!!!!!!!!

To be completely honest I was convinced we were having another little girl. I had even bet money on it. For some reason after 2 girls I just couldn’t see it any other way. But our little man was quite obvious in showing us the “evidence” that indeed HE IS ALL BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the way home from our appointment we stopped and picked up some balloons and blue candy as a way to tell our girls the exciting news….

…… and this is pretty much the expression Josh had on his face all day. One proud daddy of 3!

Telling our girls was fun. Bekah was SOOOOOOOO excited to hear about her little brother and Anna was also excited…….

……… mostly about the suckers. ;)

To say that we CAN’T wait to meet our little boy this coming February would be an extreme understatement. We are truly elated that we saw a healthy, thriving baby on the screen today. And now….

we wait, prepare and pray for our son……..
