YAY!!!!!! Donna is a married woman! I have never seen a more beautiful bride. She was beaming! The day was exactly how she and Philip wanted it to be…… simple, family oriented, Christ Centered, and very very FAST!!!!! :)
They are a beautiful couple! Welcome to the family Philip!
Ok……. so here is basically ALL the pictures Josh took. I had a special friend all day called morning sickness and my WONDERFUL husband basically acted as my extra brain, hands and feet. Thank you honey!
Getting ready in the morning….. Isn’t she stunning? :)
My girls were so excited to be flower girls. Rebekah especially could not wait for her time in the spot light. They did a great job. Perfect in fact!
Donna and my parents….
My bouquet…. we each had a monogram on our bouquets and the flower girls had their names monogrammed on their baskets. Love the little details. ![]()
They came down the isle with perfect timing. :) (maybe I should hire them out for other weddings. ;) )
The ceremony…
The hairpiece I made for Donna to wear at the reception.
When we initially went wedding dress shopping she kept trying similar items on and was planning on purchasing one to wear for after the ceremony. When I saw the price tags I almost fainted!!!!!! They priced in the $200 range. So I (as a caring sister ;) ) put my foot down and said that I would attempt to make one. Five dollars and a glue gun later TA-DA! :)
(sewn onto it are Austrian crystals that I wore as a bracelet in my wedding. They belonged to my Great Grandmother.)
One very queasy mommy and two beautiful little ladies.
The cake from Beverly's Best.
This is kind of a sad picture. Rebekah so wanted to catch the bouquet but was about 2 feet too short to do so. So close! :)
On their way to a honeymoon in Aruba!
A great thing about weddings is seeing family! Here we are pictured with my Uncle Mike, Aunt Sonia, Brother Nathan, Dad’s cousins Susan and Jim and my great aunt Clara. :)
A good day. So many reasons to praise the Lord. We look forward to all God has for Mr. and Mrs. De Jong!
