The weekend after the fourth of July we went camping along the central coast with some friends. No Nelson Summer would be complete without a little camping and El Capitan is one of our favorite spots. It was a bit chilly this year and we even experienced some mild showers. (Cooking in the open rain can be interesting.) But late night discussions with friends, laughing, and plenty of chasing after kids made for a memorable adventure.
Micah is such a happy baby. REALLY, SUCH A HAPPY BOY!
“Sitting up” at 4 1/2 months.
(like his shirt? totally fits his personality)
Playing in the sand. Josh helped the kids dig a sizable hole and find plenty of sand crabs. Thank the Lord for daddies!
Anna who started off quite disturbed by the unpredictable nature of the waves (not a big fan of things out of her control) ended up conquering a fear and splashing in the water like a pro!
On our last day we headed north for a little blueberry picking and (an interesting) lunch in Solvang.
Our beautiful Rebekah Kate….my goodness she is growing!
Anna Elizabeth… little miss personality.
the boy….
The kids with their berries. And they were really good blueberries too.
You two sure make cute kiddos! Love the pictures!
