Yesterday we went on a field trip to The Columbia Memorial Space Center in Downey, California.
The MISSION…. learning about SPACE, ASTRONAUTS and also… getting out of the house.
So here is what it looked like…
“YEAH! FIELD TRIPS!!!!!!!!!”
I will say, loud and proud, I LOVE MY MINIVAN!
Here is one of the reasons why….
great for a quick bite with minimal car seat stickiness.
The “Mr.” enjoying a little lunch.
“You should try this, Mommy… it’s good.”
Ready to go inside…
…and off into orbit.
Captain Rebekah Nelson on her first mission with NASA.
Micah in the toddler area.
DID YOU KNOW……
that an astronaut’s uniform costs well over 40 million dollars? and also… that an astronauts uniform is fitted to his/her body so perfectly that they are even fitted to their specific finger tips.
Interesting? I thought so.
Micah… continuing to explore the toddler area.
Laws of gravity are always fun to play with.
Rebekah was right in the mix ready to catch a parachute.
Anna thought by being in front she would have an advantage in catching. Unfortunately she came up a “bit short”
She had better luck with the paper airplane launcher.
Rebekah flying an airplane.
and playing with bottle launchers and learning about air pressure….
all things that made for a fun afternoon in SPACE!
