Wednesday was another full day. Josh had more conference sessions so to keep us busy whilst he was away , mom and I took the kids on another walk. This time we made it to the Hyatt. We had heard tale that they had penguins and other exotic birds there and so we ventured out to see if what we heard was true. It was!
Once we got to the Hyatt we found… an African Crowned Crain…
And yes, there were indeed… PENGUINS!!!! Pretty cool….ey?
Micah had a hold of these shovels pretty much all the time. And often was wearing his life vest too. I can only imagine what people thought as they saw us walking 4 kids, one of which was in a bubble vest and holding shovels… through a fancy hotel lobby.
The gang…. in front of orchids at the Hyatt. They had some beautiful gardens.
Running across the rope bridge at the Hyatt. Bekah was up for it… Anna not so much.
This is her… “hurry up and take the picture so I can get off this thing” look.
Much happier on solid ground.
Micah was getting antsy in the stroller and since we still had a ways to walk to get back to our hotel… we busted out the movie on the iphone. Sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do.
Walking along the Beachwalk with a little stop for refreshment.
My mom and Leah.
When we got back, Josh stayed with Micah for a little rest, while the girls all went for a Lei making class.
Leah’s bathing suit barely fit. I even bought the next size up. Gotta love some baby chubs.
She really was so easy for the entire trip. Just a happy, happy baby really.
Sitting up… such a big girl!
The kids loved being in the pool every spare minute.
And thought the water slide was great. A perfect size for them.
Micah wasn’t happy about stopping to take a picture.
That night Josh and I attended a Luau with the conference he was attending… and a bonus was… the Luau was literally on the lawn in front of our room. So the kids stayed with my mom in the room, got bathed, watched a movie, and ordered pizza and then later on we were able to bring the girls out to the show. Yay!
Anna was getting pretty tired by the end and you would never know by this picture… but she left wanting to be a “hula girl” for Halloween.
That was Wednesday! Fun, fun!
