I have had this project in mind for a while….. as in… I have had the frames for almost a year… well… here they are my little artists’ masterpieces! Worth the wait!
On Saturday we went to Home Depot to look for a stove/oven… which we purchased…. YAY! And as we walked in we saw balloons and nice people in orange asking us if we wanted to make handprint stones for free! Sure, why not!
A very happy little boy… not having to sit in the stroller and getting to put his hands in wet cement! That’s a winning combo!
We are still technically “in school”… and are currently learning about living things. So we made a cell model…. with a plastic bag, Jello, a grape (the nucleus) and M&M’s (the organelles)… finished off with masking tape labels….. and a spoon for eating!
Speaking of “living things” … I have high hopes for my pumpkins this year. We have yet to successfully get a whole pumpkin from our harvests and I believe this will be the year. The girls have the job of daily watering our areas not sprinkled by the sprinklers…. and have been very diligent. We are starting to see beet and carrot tops as well as some corn…. so we shall see what harvest time will bring.
This is a picture of Bekah saying “Yes! I got my sister to sleep! “ She is actually pretty good at swaying all 20 plus pounds of Leah back and forth til she falls asleep. What a kid.
