September 6th, 2012…
Josh’s (34th) birthday. And a fabulous day to visit the Grand Canyon.
And it is… without a doubt… truly… GRAND.
At the watchtower…we all had butterflies as we climbed those steps. Josh had a white knuckle grip on Micah. THE ENTIRE TIME!
Looking out of the window in the watchtower. I am pretty sure the people that work here have the BEST view in a work environment ever...not to mention, they get the view and air conditioning.
I’m taking a picture of you taking a picture of me… that’s never been done before.
Three of the coolest kids in the world.
All four of the coolest kids in the world.
I like these gals.
They had these scripture plaques placed all over the watch tower…
37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the
Lord!”“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
Everyone, I would like you to meet Miss Happy!!!!
Listening to the ranger talk about the California Condor.
No picture can capture the magnitude.
Getting their Junior Ranger badges.
Josh was obviously totally ready for the picture.
Happy birthday, Josh!
