A wonderful day. Bringing our daughter to the Throne of Grace.
Leah, you have been marked with the cross of Christ. May you cling to Him all the days of your life, follow Him with all your heart and seek His face in all you say and do. We pray that you will shine your light before the world and that the Lord will use you powerfully in His kingdom. Our precious Leah, you are surrounded with family and loved ones that vow to lift you up in prayer and support you with love. You are a precious child of God’s, created for a purpose.
Lord, we praise you for our Leah.
How blessed we are to have been entrusted with such a gift.
Here is a little miracle…. My mom and dad bought Leah her baptism dress before she was born. It is size 3-6 months. Leah is no longer wearing 3-6 months…. at all. The 6-12 month size is starting to be a little snug. We had scheduling difficulties in finding a date for the baptism and with each passing month I grew convinced that the sweet little dress I had in a box would not fit. But look at it… it fit perfectly. The bonnet was, yes, a tad snug… but with those cheeks snug is bound to be the case with any bonnet.
Our brother-in-law, Nathan baptized Leah. And as soon as the water was sprinkled on her head, she was smiling from ear to ear and waving at everyone seated in the sanctuary!
Leah and her sponsors… our dear friends the Goyers.
Our Leah, you are loved.
Also a special thank you to Joy and Nathan for leading the service and allowing us to use their church home for this special day.
