When trying to take pictures of my kiddos, I have found that I will NEVER get a great shot if I wait for them all to be perfectly posed and still. For one, that doesn’t happen… ( the perfectly still part…EVER) and for another there would be too many “great shots” missed if I didn’t just keep clicking. My method in photography (since you need a method) is to just keep snapping until the kids have had enough or the camera has. Josh can attest to this as he has joked that we will probably spend our retirement cataloging and organizing the THOUSANDS of pictures I have taken throughout our lifetime. He’s probably right. I wouldn’t mind though. I love looking at each frame taken and seeing how my babies grow and interact with each other. I love watching how personality traits can glare through even a still photo.
For example…
(and by the way, you may notice one certain little boy making things difficult…)
