Monday morning…. we headed for a half day at the Magic Kingdom…
Waiting for our boat tram…
Waiting at the gates to get into the park. They have a fun welcome show to open the park.
Anna had a big moment…. she was FINALLY tall enough for a “roller coaster”… she was able to ride BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN!
And from the picture below you can tell…. she…. had a blast!!!!!
I think Grandpa and Bekah enjoyed themselves as well.
Waiting to see Bear Country Jamboree….
Getting to Woody and Jesse…
HULA-HOOPIN…. and ROCKIN at it!
Swiss Family Robinson Tree House…
a tree house view…
We only spent the morning in the park on Monday and then headed back to Wilderness Lodge and took a hike from there back to Fort Wilderness.
They have a beautiful trail that connects the two properties.
We were even able to spot some deer not far from us.
We stopped at the corrals for pony rides….
and I am pretty sure you can assume one little cowboy was thrilled!!!!!!!!
Rebekah had to experience one of the sorrows of growing up…. she was too tall to ride the ponies. But she was able to be reminded that she was tall enough to ride all the roller coasters while Micah and Anna had to sit out and wait.
Then we took a quick hour or so in the pool…. it was CHILLY!!!!
After a busy day… we came back to the cabin and Micah finally decided to nap! It only took 4 days! When we got him dressed for his dinner and fun night out with Grandpa and Grandma this is how he looked. He stayed OUT throughout the dressing….
The kids went and had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma and then got to have a campout fire with marshmallows and s’mores and watch a movie under the stars…. Monsters Inc. to be exact.
And whilst they were enjoying a fun evening in the “wilderness”… Josh and I enjoyed a night out together. We ate at Artists Point…it was lovely…
We had time for a drink and an appetizer before dinner in the bar… my parents had told us to get the homemade potato chips with truffle dip.
This was my picture to say they were….
pretty darn good.
Iced tea always tastes better with a Mickey straw…
